GoGo Safari Public art trail in Norwich summer of 2025
'Swifts'

Swifts are migratory birds that visit Norwich each summer, flying 6,000 miles from Sub-Saharan Africa, where elephants roam. This elephant’s design reflects their journey, with one side depicting Norwich and the other Sub-Saharan Africa. Swifts are known for their aerial acrobatics, using speed and agility to catch insects mid-flight. You can spot them dancing in the sky above the GoGo Safari trail, particularly at dawn and dusk. Keep an eye out for these incredible travellers as they grace the skies of Norwich.

GOGO SAFARI PUBLIC ART TRAIL IN NORWICH SUMMER OF 2025
'Sunny'

This striking two-sided gorilla sculpture captures past and future energy. One side glows with blue gas flames and shimmering oil colours, symbolising both the allure and environmental cost of fossil fuels. In contrast, the other side radiates with sunlight, and wind blown Norfolk reeds representing renewable energy. This powerful visual metaphor confronts the realities of our energy choices while celebrating the region’s forward-thinking spirit. It’s a conversation starter, inviting viewers to reflect on their journey towards a sustainable world.

Swifts -Visitors to Cambridge
My giraffe is inspired by the swifts who visit Cambridge and fly high in our skies. They fly from Sub-Sahara Africa where giraffes live.
